Rising from the ashes
Alive Phoenix is the international new-wave project of Pete John. Launched in 2020, it brings together musicians from around the world to create a retro sound rooted in the 80s — influenced by British, German and New York experimental music.
The songs are about revolution and love: from “Lost in You”, the most-watched video with over 100,000 views, to “Sounds Like a Melody”, an officially licensed Alphaville cover.
Beyond the music, Pete John directs the band’s videos and works as a conceptual artist — his photo and film projects explore perception and how we construct reality.
